Mentorship
Find a certification mentor
IQCB certification requires 10 contact hours of mentorship with a certified Diplomate. Mentors verify candidates’ ability to analyze patient data and present QEEG reports. Long-distance mentoring via phone or video is acceptable and widely practiced.
IQCB requires that mentors be Diplomate-certified and in active clinical practice for at least two years. Mentoring fees are set by individual mentors and are separate from IQCB fees.
Finding a mentor: Use the directory above and look for the QEEG-DL or QEEG-D credential. You may use more than one mentor. To ask the board for a mentor referral in your area or specialty, contact iqcbadmin@iqcb.org.
Technologists
QEEG-T certified technologists
QEEG-T certificants are trained in EEG acquisition, artifact management, and foundational qEEG methodology. They practice under the supervision of a certified Diplomate. Use the directory above to find technologists in your area.
